These terms are an agreement between you and [Legal business name], [registered address] ("Co-hopp"). By using the Co-hopp website or apps, you agree to them.
Co-hopp is software that helps PG and hostel owners manage their properties, and helps residents manage their stay. Co-hopp is not a party to any rental agreement. The stay, rent, deposit, rules and refunds are agreed between the owner and the resident.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's consent. You must give true information and keep your login safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
If you're a PG owner
- The information you enter about your property, rooms and residents must be accurate.
- You must have your residents' consent before adding their data, and follow applicable laws, including tenant police verification and any local registration rules.
- Listings you publish on Co-hopp (photos, rent, amenities, rules) must be true and current.
- You're responsible for the decisions you make using Co-hopp, such as charges, reminders and notices.
If you're a resident
- Your rent, deposit and stay are between you and your owner.
- Use complaints and messages for genuine issues, and don't post abusive or false content.
Fees
- The Residents app is free.
- Owner plans are charged as shown on the pricing section of the owners page, plus GST. Payments are processed by Razorpay.
- Prices may change with [30 days'] notice. Founding-owner prices are locked as stated in the offer.
- Refunds and cancellations follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
What you must not do
Copy, resell or reverse-engineer Co-hopp; access other people's data; upload anything illegal, harmful or misleading; send spam through Co-hopp; or try to break its security.
Your content and our software
Your data stays yours; you give us permission to use it only to run Co-hopp for you (see the Privacy Policy). The Co-hopp name, logo, apps and website belong to [Legal business name].
Ending your use
You can stop anytime and delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after notice where reasonable. Before closure, owners can export their data.
Disclaimers and liability
We work hard to keep Co-hopp accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable. We are not liable for disputes between owners and residents, or for indirect losses. Our total liability to an owner is limited to the fees they paid us in the [12 months] before the claim.
Law and disputes
These terms follow the laws of India. Courts in [city of the registered office] have jurisdiction. Please contact our Grievance Officer first; most issues are solved there.
